Planning meeting — We sit down in the space to talk all the details: timeline and final details of the day, decor, vendors and more.
Custom Floor Plan — Before you even reserve your day, you’ll have a custom floor plan sent along with your proposal. During your planning meeting, we lock in the details to ensure we have every detail considered.
Vendor Support — Your vendors, your call, with a little help where you want it. However you build your team, we're with you throughout planning, answering questions, coordinating with your vendors as they arrive, and keeping the day moving.

Designed for you. If you have a vision, we have a decor or design partner for that! Ideal Party Rentals, Event's Novum, Flurish, Hello Divine and MKE Balloons are just a few who frequent our little gem.
As always, flexibility is part of our promise. You can always work with your own vendors or provide your own decor. We’re here to help with the process. Rooted in this neighborhood, and in doing things right.
Denizen is woman-owned, LGBTQ+-owned, and locally owned — built by people who live blocks from the venue and are invested in this community. That includes our neighbor right across the street: Washington Park, 128 acres of historic Olmsted-designed green space, with 150 free parking spots for your guests and one of our favorite backdrops for wedding-day photos. We didn't end up by chance. Being part of this neighborhood, and investing in it, is part of why Denizen exists at all.
After your Event
The relationship doesn't end when the lights come up.
Once the last guest leaves, we're still here making sure you have the your items gathered and the last piece of cake. We want you to soak up those last moments. A lot of what we've built here comes from deep hospitality roots. We promise support every step of the way.
