Yes! Right across the street is Washington Park with 150 free parking spots, just steps from our door (it’s also one of our favorite backdrops for wedding photos!). We also have street parking on both sides of the venue.
-
Your private event rental includes access to the venue beginning 1.5 hours before your scheduled start time. Confirm your exact arrival time with us beforehand so everything is ready when you get here.

You will arrive for your event with tables and chairs set with linens on the tables. You are responsible for setting up anything you bring in. At the end of your event, you will remove any left over food and decor from the space. The Denizen team handles clean up from there: Removing linens, stacking chairs, sweeping, mopping, etc.

We do have a small prep area for caterers. The space provides tables and outlets for warmers and equipment. We do not provide any equipment for the caterers. The prep space has a private entrance.

Yes. We allow you to bring in your own food provided by an unlicensed caterer or family/friends. With this, you are responsible for full set up, clean up and removing all left over food from the property. Denizen staff is not able to provide food service or set up. You are also responsible for proper food handling meaning hot food needs to stay at proper temperatures and health codes must be followed. Prior authorization is needed before you plan to provide food from an unlicensed caterer. Without prior authorization from the Denizen staff, food may be turned away at the door.

Yes — check out our Catering Guide for a comprehensive, side-by-side list of caterers, pricing, and what to expect. Full service may not fit every budget, but many of our caterers offer partial service too, which is a great option for a more casual vibe. Our caterers are a great fit for intimate weddings and elopements!

Yes! Whether it's a planner, caterer, or decorator, you're always welcome to bring your own team. We’ve curated a preferred vendors list to help you get started.

Yes — the one thing we can't change is your date. Bar packages, guest counts, and setup details can all be adjusted as we meet and finalize your event. If something impacts your date, we'll do our best to accommodate a reschedule once, without fees, within a reasonable timeframe (up to 60 days prior).
-
Not after final count is given — your count is due 10 days before your event, since that's when we place orders for linens and alcohol and finalize staffing. Before then, yes, we can make any changes and updates needed to your guest count.
-
If fewer guests arrive, we're not able to adjust orders or linens already delivered. If more guests arrive than planned, any per-person items on your invoice will be adjusted and billed before the end of your event.
