We’re a space designed to flex. The same room that hosts an elegant wedding reception on Saturday can host a product launch on Tuesday and a baby shower brunch on Sunday – each one feeling like it was built just for that event.
Corporate mixers, showers, birthday celebrations, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, nonprofit fundraisers, brand launches. Whatever brings people together, that's the art of gathering.
Everything lives on one open floor, built to flex from cozy and intimate to fully dressed-up, and ready to bring any vision to life. Denizen holds up to 120 guests and includes both the indoor space and our outdoor patio and lawn.
The outdoor space is included in your rental, no extra planning required. Craft cocktails, local brews, and wine or champagne are ready at the bar. Let’s do this!

Your reservation includes both the indoor space and our outdoor patio and lawn. Steps from Washington Park, with 150 free parking spots right across the street. Ample street parking is available on both side of our street.
More than a venue
Every rental comes with a team, not just a room:
Real planning support. A planning check-in and final walkthrough about one month before your event. We're onsite from setup through breakdown, to help when you need it. And once it's over, we're still here, and we'd love to see your photos and hear how it went!
We include your set up time! That’s right. Your rental includes 1.5 hours for set up and 1 hour for clean up. Don’t worry - if more time is needed, we have options for that.
Vendor flexibility. You're always welcome to bring your own team. We’ve also put together a Preferred Vendors List to help you get started, along with a Catering Guide.
A space with values. Woman-owned, LGBTQ+-owned, locally owned, and right across the street from Washington Park. We're also eco-friendly: no single-use plastics, no glitter or confetti!

Yes! There is a lot directly across the street offering over 150 spaces and a path directly to our front door. We also have street parking on either side of Vliet.

Yes. Whether it is a planner, catering or decorator, you can always choose your own vendors. They do need to go through a vetting process before officially entering our space. This consists of a few questions and a bit of getting to know each other’s business!

Yes - you can always bring your own food. We do not have a kitchen, we have a prep space. There is a small hot box for holding food warm, running water and limited fridge space (like we can fit a cake, that’s it!). No cooking is allowed on-site.

We do have a small prep area for caterers. The space provides tables and outlets for warmers and equipment. We do not provide any equipment for the caterers. The prep space has a private entrance.

Yes — the one thing we can't change is your date. Bar packages, guest counts, and setup details can all be adjusted as we meet and finalize your event. If something impacts your date, we'll do our best to accommodate a reschedule once, without fees, within a reasonable timeframe (up to 60 days prior).

Not after it's given — your count is due 10 days before your event, since that's when we place orders for linens and alcohol and finalize staffing.

If fewer guests arrive, we're not able to adjust orders or linens already delivered. If more guests arrive than planned, any per-person items on your invoice will be adjusted and billed before the end of your event.

Room rental varies with date, time and season. We have flexible option to accommodate any event. You can expect starting price of $2,000 for a weekend and $500-$1,500 during the week.
At the bar, our flexibility gives us a wide range of hosting options. We have a $1,000 bar minimum
