43rd+Vliet: Denizen MKE, Washington Park Media Center, JazzyRae’ Jewels and Accessories, and Artists Working in Education (AWE) transform our indoor and outdoor spaces into lively artistic hubs showcasing performances, installations, media-making, refreshments and activities with local creatives. These events celebrate the neighborhood’s cultural diversity while fostering vibrant street life along Vliet Street.
Support our first 43rd+Vliet fundraiser for Washington Park and our creative streetscaping and activities! Donate through our raffle, chalk and candy games, walking tour and more while enjoying time with neighbors and visitors.

Artists Working in Education (AWE)
Exhibition opening featuring AWE’s work from teens ages 14 - 18 in our Spring Rising Artists Council led by local teaching artist, John Kowalczyk. Meet local teaching artists whose work will be on display in our studio space. We will also have fun hands-on art making focused on recycling where you can add to our oversized garbage installation that will be exhibited at the Milwaukee County Court House this Spring.
